How to play

• At the Frostmere ice-carousel fair the village children are out riding round ice carousels on the frozen lake at sunset. Bring every one home.
• Drag a carousel to turn it one step. The carousel you turn goes your way, and every other carousel turns one step the other way, all at once.
• A child carried onto a little plank bridge crosses it to the next carousel, if the far end is free. Two children at the two ends of one bridge both stay.
• A child carried next to an empty hut of their family's colour hops off and goes in for cocoa. Each hut takes one child.
• Bring every child home in the fewest turns for three stars. Undo and Restart are always free.
• Later: drawbridges, huts with red lanterns, small carousels that hold two, and five carousels at once.
